Leslie Beal, 66, passed away due to complications following a double lung transplant on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Born July 6, 1946, in Frostburg to the late Melvin and Bernadette (Croft) Hileman Ward. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Carol A. Mannick, Marjorie Hollivar and Delores Twigg; two brothers, William Hileman and Nole H. Hileman.
Leslie was the former Co-Owner/Operator of Beal’s Corner Market & L.B.’s Tavern, Frostburg, a realtor with Good Fellow Real Estate and retired from the Aramark Corp. at F.S.U. as a cashier.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Beal and her son Larry Beal Jr., of Sterling, VA. Also surviving are two sisters, Bonnie Hileman and Erma Lee Hovatter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beal was cremated in accordance with her wishes.
