Helen Conway

Helen Marie Conway, 95, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Born June 17, 1926, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of John J. and Marietta Pearl (Crowe) King.

She is last surviving member of her King family from Mount Savage who consisted of the following eight brothers,  Raymond J. King, John E. King, James Bernard King, Gregory A. King, Charles T. King, Francis D King, George Eugene King, Vincent R King; two sisters, Mary Martha Sites and Margaret King.

In addition she is preceded in death by her first husband, Millard L Robertson in 1957, and her second husband of forty years, Hubert R Conway, who died in 2004.

Surviving are her children; Christine Bishop, Karen Poorbaugh and husband Bill, Bryan Robertson, Joseph Conway and wife Amber, Martin Conway and partner Brenda Wyles; grandchildren, Wendy Robbins, Edward Izzett and wife Chi, Cathy Sikora and husband Ronald, Sarah Sikora and husband Robert, William Poorbaugh and wife Michele, Christopher Conway and wife Jeannine, Kellen Conway, Tallen Conway, Zaden Conway and Makenna Conway as well as fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great Grandchildren.

Helen was a lifetime member of St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Savage. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Old Rail Post 6025 and Ancient Order of Hibernians.
