Alice Elizabeth Mulligan, 98, passed away on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born on April 9, 1917, in Mt. Savage, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Elizabeth (Hiner) Mulligan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Alice retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a life-long member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Mt. Savage.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Mt. Savage, MD, on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 10 am with Father Greg Chervenak serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery.
