Arlene Cessna

Eva Arlene Cessna, 90, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at UMPC Western Maryland.

Born on February 3. 1930 in Morgantown, WV; she was the daughter of Cecil and Pearl (Berry) Whetsell and stepfather, Harry Wotring

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Jack” Calvin Cessna; and son, John C. Cessna Jr.

Arlene was a member and served as past queen with “Daughters of the Nile”. She retired as a distributer for Beef Jerky where she enjoyed talking with new people. Arlene loved spending time with her family, she always had a smile and a good joke to make you laugh.

Surviving are her children Charles “Chuck” Cessna and wife Jacqueline, Jane (Cessna) Eaton and husband Steve; grandchildren, Erica Brenner and husband Rob, Brett Cessna and wife, Heather, and Autumn Cessna; great-grandchildren, Liam and Nolan Brenner, Emma and Mckenna Cessna; stepbrother, Myron and wife, Letty Wotring.
