Billie (Sis) Powers

Billie E. (Sis) Powers, 86, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Frostburg, MD, died April 29, 2015.

Born March 1, 1929 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of William J. Hahn and Emma (Blocher) Hahn.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Delores Brady and husband Dr. William J. Powers.

Billie graduated from Beall High School in 1946 and was a telephone operator for the C&P Telephone Company prior to starting a family in 1957.  In 1991 she and Bill retired and moved to Albuquerque, NM where they lived until 2007 when they returned to Frostburg.  In 2008 she moved back to Albuquerque where she lived until her death.

Surviving are her two sons, Kevin F. Powers and wife Marci, Albuquerque, NM and Joseph W. Powers and wife Kori, Pleasanton, CA, three grandchildren, Theodore J. (Ted) Powers, Las Cruces, NM, Eryn Powers and Nicole Powers, Pleasanton, CA.
