Brian Alan Shaw

37, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Born on May 20, 1980, in Cumberland, he was the son of Steve and Susan Shaw.

Brian, known as “Shaw” to many, was a graduate of Beall High School. He was a Merchant Seaman, an electrician, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 307, in Cumberland, and was employed as a field service technician for Konecranes Region Americas.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Liam and Kennedy; sisters Julia Crowley and Angela Vance; and an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Brian was loved as a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew and a friend.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Monday, February 5, 2018, from 4-6 pm. Family and friends can share memories of Brian’s life at 6 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Liam and Kennedy Shaw, Brian’s children, at ACT 1st Federal Credit Union, 14316 National Highway SW, LaVale, MD 21502.
