Charles Sluss

Charles Cecil Sluss, 74, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
Born May 31, 1941, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Sluss.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings James Sluss, Edward Adolph Sluss, Helen Cozad and Mary Susan Ross.
After graduating from Beall High School in 1959, he served in the United States Army. While serving in Germany, he was injured severely in an automobile accident.
Surviving are three sister, Evelyn Kern, LaDonna Parker and husband Dale and Edwina Ann Day and husband George; niece, LaDonna K. Smearman, Mt. Savage; nephews, Brian Christopher Day, Centerville, VA, Scott Alan Day, Seattle, WA, Richard Sluss, Rawlings, MD. He also leaves behind Danielle Bungori, who was his beloved caregiver for 38 years.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, MD, on Friday, April 15th, from 10-11 am.
Funeral services will follow at 11 am with Rev. Joe Penick officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
Military honors will be accorded by Farrady Post 24 Frostburg American Legion honor guard.
