Dana Robertson

Dana " Robbie" Lee Robertson, 79, of Frostburg passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at UPMC.

Born on June 1, 1946 to the late Dorothy Virginia Gray and Leonard Arthur Robertson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Benilda "Benny" (Fabbri) Robertson of 45 years who passed on April 12, 2025.

Dana was a proud graduate of Beall High School, Class of 1964. He excelled in soccer, baseball, and tennis. He was the recipient of the Best Baseball Player Award his senior year.

Dana retired from the State Police as a communications operator after 30 years of service. He was a member of the FOP Lodge, Cresaptown Eagles and SOA Legion, Frostburg, Post #24. He was also a member of Welsh Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting until his health gave up. He also enjoyed going to Rocky Gap casino.

Surviving are his sister, Robyn Frankenberry and husband John.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 9, 2025, at Durst Funeral Home, at 1:00 PM with Jim Jeffries officiating.

He was well liked by everyone and will be especially missed by his sister. Rest in peace Dear Brother, I love you and will see you again.
