It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished brother and uncle, David Lee "Frickie" Crawford on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Randy Winebrenner.
Born November 16, 1968, in Cumberland, MD, to the late Joseph Crawford, Sr. and Arlene (Ash) Crawford. He was also preceded in death by his "grandmother", Jennie Winebrenner.
David was the center of his family's life. Being a child all of his life, enabled him to have many playmates throughout the decades, including: In the 1960s, he had his siblings, Joe, Peggy and Terry. In the 1970s, his neighbors, Howie, Laura and Amy Platter. In the1980s and 1990s, his nephews and nieces, Casey, Joey and David "Teddy" Crawford; Heather and Fallon D'Antoni. Randy Winebrenner, Jr. In the 2000-present, his great nephews, Steven "Jake" Hutcheson (who resided with Frickie and helped take care of him), Mike (his best friend) and Isaiah Folk, Steven "Boy" and Jack Kuhn; and his great, great nephew and niece, Maverick Wade and Layla Mae Folk.
Throughout the years, David attended and made many friends at Christian Fellowship, George's Creek Adult Daycare, Willow Creek Daycare, and South Penn Elementary.
After his mother's passing in 1997, David and his father moved beside his brother, Joe. When his father passed in 2015, David moved in with his sister, Peggy (Randy) who doted on, cared for and loved her little brother, putting his needs before her own. The last ten years of David's life were his most enjoyable due to the love received at Peggy's and Randy's home.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his brother, Joseph Crawford, Jr, (Beverley), Shaft; sisters, Peggy (Randy) Winebrenner, Frostburg; Terry (Mark) Herman , Fenton, MI; nephews and nieces, Mark and Mike Herman, Michigan; Casey (Steven) Kuhn (Championsgate, FL); Joseph (Amanda) Crawford, Jr., David Crawford, Heather (John) Hutcheson, Fallon (Billy) Folk, Randy Winebrenner, Jr. and all of his playmates listed above.
