Delores Imes

Delores Elizabeth Imes, 88, of Mt. Savage, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Born on May 18, 1929, she was the youngest of seven children of the late Robert and Virginia (Long) Carder.
In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband William T. Imes in 1963; daughter, Deborah L. Imes; brothers, Robert Carder, William Carder and John Carder; and sisters, Ruth Bishields and Dolly Watkins.
She was lovingly referred to as Gram. She loved her dog Rambo and cat Mr. T. Flowers made her happy and shopping was one of her biggest joys. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Mrs. Imes is survived by her daughter Carlotta Porter and husband Wayne; grandson, Mark Porter; and sister Lillian Koenig of Avella, PA.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD, on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 11am to 12 pm. A funeral service will follow immediately at 12 pm with Pastor Jeri Penrod officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
