Edward Dennis Brailer

Edward Dennis Brailer, 76, of Mt. Savage, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Sterling Care in Frostburg, MD.

Born April 1, 1948, in Cumberland, to the late Cletus G. and Rita E. (Meanyhan) Brailer.  

Denny was a Kelly Springfield retiree and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Mt. Savage, Old Rail Post #6025 VFW, Farrady Post #24 American Legion and Vietnam Veterans Chapter #172.

Surviving are his brother, John William Brailer and wife Cynthia; nieces, Cimberly, Stephanie and Catherine; nephew, Adam; three great nephews, Paxson, Perry and Cole; and numerous cousins and extended family. 

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Mt. Savage on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10 am with Fr. Mark Carter, OFM Cap as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone on with Old Rail Post #6025 VFW, Farrady Post #24 American Legion and Vietnam Veterans Chapter #172 serving Military Honors.

Pallbearers are James King, Patrick King, Michael King, Dewey Stafford, Adam Brailer and Cole Brailer.
