Emory Minnick

January 16, 1947 — March 28, 2015

Emory Francis Minnick, 68, of Frostburg, MD, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown, WV.

Born January 16, 1947, in Eckhart, MD, he was the son of the late George C. and Genevieve G. (Wilt) Minnick

In addition to his parents, Emory was preceded in death by his son, Emory Francis Minnick, Jr and his brother, George J. Minnick

Emory was a graduate of Beall High School and worked in the construction field. He loved buying cars, restoring them and reselling them. His passion was for cars, motorcycles and four wheelers. Emory was described as a Jack of All Trades and “if it could be built, he would build it.” He loved spending time at his second home, Winners Used Car Lot.

Surviving are special friend and companion of twenty years, Helen Spiker; son, George Minnick and wife Michelle; daughter, Michelle Aman and companion Mike Logsdon; grandchildren, Devin VanSkiver, Seth VanSkiver, Dakota Hager, Dylan Minnick Baker, Tyler Minnick Baker, Amanda Weimer and Kyle Aman and wife Shelby; great-grandson, Dean Aman; sister, Rose Marie Fresh; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tommy Winners.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Minnick was cremated.
