Esther Louise Kennell, 80, of Mt. Savage, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born November 26, 1933, in Pleasant Union, PA to the late Kenneth R. and Irene M. (Crossland) Bittner. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Janie Wilhelm and brothers, Jack Bittner, Carl (Sonny) Bittner, and Ronald Bittner.
Mrs. Kennell was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church, Cumberland, where she was a member of Women’s Ministries and played the piano and organ.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth L. Kennell; son, Roger Lee Kennell and wife Jeane; daughter, Deborah Ann Wotring and husband Blaine; grandchildren, Jennifer R. Helmstetter and husband Mike, Ryan Lee Kennell and wife Nora; great grandchildren, Sarah Jean Helmstetter, Emily Sue Helmstetter, Madison Kennell, Hannah Leigh Kennell, Abby Marie Kennell; brothers, Jerry Bittner and wife Elaine, Larry Bittner; sister-in-laws, Barbara Bittner, Sandy Bittner and Shirley Bittner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
