Evelyn Skidmore

Evelyn Marie Skidmore passed away at her home on Thursday, May 5, 2022

Born on March 21, 1935, to the late Charles E. and Frances (Sivic) Wright. In addition to her parent she is preceded by her husband, Richard V. “Ted” Skidmore; son, Gregory Cecil Skidmore; and brother, John E. Wright.

Mrs. Skidmore was a Christian by faith and read her bible every day. She took pride in her house, garden and the pies that she made. Evelyn loved her family, from her children to the great children.

Surviving are her son, John and wife Betty Skidmore; daughters, Lisa Snow, Debbie (Skidmore) Miller; grandchildren, Ronald Lee Streets Jr., Jesse and Jamie Miller, Crystal Logue, and Deanna Marie Skidmore; great grandchildren, Bently and Mason Northy, and Addison Skidmore; sister, Vivan Stevens and husband George.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Monday, May 9th, 2022, from 10 to 11 am. Funeral Services will follow at 11 am with Chris Skidmore officiating.

Interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
