Evelyn Cecelia Winner

92, of Frostburg, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her residence.

Born December 4, 1926 to Clarence and Luewella (Stinely) McKenzie. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick J. Winner; son, Frederick J. Winner Jr.; daughter, Cathy Maria Miller; two sisters, Gladys Ravenscroft and Mary Layman; five brothers, Erving, Arthur, Carroll, Hubert, and Carlton J. “Turp” McKenzie.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; devoted in her faith, a marvelous cook, and loved gardening and eating out.

Surviving are daughters, Theresa Winner and Maria Foye and husband, Jim; son-in-law, Greg Miller; grandchildren, Tim Winner, April Miller, Chris Miller and wife Jenna, Jessie Miller and wife Amanda, Cody Miller and Jeremy Skidmore; great grandchildren, Victoria, Elisha and Joshua Winner, Caitlin, Kami, Caleb, Brielle, Wyatt Miller and Luke Raynor; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from Noon – 1:00 pm; with the funeral service to follow at 1 pm with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
