Gary William Drees, 62, of Frostburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Western Maryland Regional Medical System after a long battle with cancer.
Born March 13, 1951, in Cumberland, to W. Stanley Drees and Nellie Elizabeth (Mull). He is preceded in death by his father W. Stanley Drees.
Gary formerly worked at Carl Belt and was a retired self-employed Carpenter; he was a member of the Frostburg Eagles #1273, Knights of Columbus #1442, FOP #40, the Moose lodge #348 and Sons of the Legion Squadron 24.
Surviving are his mother, Nellie Elizabeth Drees; daughter, Kama Watkins and husband Tim, Frostburg; sons, Kenny Drees, Morrisville, NC; Karl Drees, LaVale; grand-children, Shayna, T.J., and Jacob; former wife, Shirley (Evans) Drees, Frostburg; brother, Gene Drees and wife Debbie, Finzel; sister, Colleen Brode and husband Bobby, Finzel; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Spookie.
