George Whetstone

George Darrell Whetstone, 39, of Corriganville, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his residence.
Born on November 9, 1976, in Frostburg, he was the son of Vera (Winters) Whetstone and the late George Franklin Whetstone.
George worked for the City of Frostburg Street Department for 19 years. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed playing in a skill pool league.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Lisa Keating and husband Eric, Vale Summit; and nieces, Christin Keating and Emily Keating.
In accordance to his wishes, George was cremated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Shaft Fire Hall on Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 2-5 pm.
