George William Garlitz

George William Garlitz, 75, of Eckhart, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. 

He was born on March 27, 1951 to the late Mildred Grace Garltiz and Charles J. Garlitz.

His greatest pleasures were being with his family and his dogs. 

Surviving are his wife Dee Garlitz, children Kimberly A. Fetters & husband Ronnie, son Daniel S. Garltiz & wife Danielle, daughter Shelley L. Garltiz, daughter Brandy Knoche & wife Korrine, son Tommy Phennicie and wife Ali, & numerous grandchildren whom he loves dearly. 

George was cremated and a private memorial will be held at a later date per his request.

The family wishes to thank UMPC Western Maryland Hospice Services for their prompt and attentive care. 

They also express their their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers & support shown throughout George's illness and difficult times.
