Henry (Harry) A. Brannon

8 3, of Mt. Savage, went to the lord on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at his residence.

Born April 26, 1931, he was the son of the late James and Theresa (Ward) Brannon.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Theresa and son, Terrance Brannon; brother, James Brannon; sister Betty Lewis.

Harry served in the U.S. Army and retired from Kelly Springfield Tire Company.  He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and choir.  Harry always gave a helping hand and was well known as Santa’s Helper for many years.  He was an avid bowler and a great baker.

Surviving are his three daughters, Diane Abucevicz and husband Keith, Helena Murray and husband Randy, and Judy Miller and husband Jeff; seven granddaughters, Missie Detrick and husband Jason, Krystal Swick and husband Shawn, Amber Rotruck and husband Colin, Katie Cowan and husband Andrew, Theresa DeWitt and husband Dan, Julie Miller and friend Chris, LouAnne Sturtz and husband Brandan; great grandchildren, Ashley, Jason, Brooke, Tanner and Alek Detrick, Uriah Swick, Logan and Owen Rotruck, Scott and Bradley Cowan, Chase, Cass and Lena DeWitt and Levi Sturtz; two brothers, John Brannon, Joe Brannon and wife Mary Frances; sister, Peggy Beal; sister in law, Helen Miller; brother in laws, Tommy Weimer, Gene Pope, Stanley Weimer and Robert Weimer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.

The granddaughters husbands will serve as pallbearers.
