James Blank, Jr.

James Austin Blank, Jr, 75, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Sterling Care at Frostburg Village.

Born on September 8, 1943, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late James Austin and Thelma Kathleen (Wright) Blank.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancé, Cynthia Stys and sister Sharon Winebrenner and husband Bernard.

Mr. Blank was a 1961 graduate of Mt. Savage High School.  Following graduation, he worked at ABL, Consolidated Engineering and then retired from the Architect of the Capitol in September of 2003.

Surviving are brother, Richard W. Blank and wife Donna, Mt. Savage; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Blank was cremated and there will be no services.
