He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma J. (Gallagher) Buskirk on October 15, 2007.
Surviving are his daughters; Geri Winters and husband Bill, Carol Green and husband Bo, Debbie O’Rourke and husband Mike, Wilda Baer and husband Cubby, Wanda Smith and husband Royce all of Frostburg and Arlene Johnson and husband Mitch of Cumberland; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; one sister, Glory Whetstone, and several nieces and nephews.
A private viewing was held at Durst Funeral Home.
He will be cremated in accordance with his wishes.
The family would like to thank all the nursing staff at Frostburg Village Nursing Home for all the good care.
