James William Cline

James William Cline, 86, of Frostburg, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Sterling Care of Frostburg.

 Born September 26, 1938, to the late Patrick and Nellie (Dentinger) Cline. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Rose Cline.

 James was a graduate of LaSalle High School and a U.S. Marine veteran during the Cold War. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish and attended St. Michael Catholic Church. He held employment with Allegany County and the Railroad.

 Surviving are his son, James (Jim) W. Cline II and wife, Christine; and grandchildren, Dominick, Gabriel and Evan Cline; brother, Homer Martz; sisters, Nellie Fryer, Hazel Davis and Joan Frame; and several nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Joseph McSorley and wife Martha.

 Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

 A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Frostburg Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Gauchat, OFM Cap.
