James Kelly

James W. Kelly, Frostburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

James was born in Clarksburg, WV in 1945 to the late James Frederick Kelly and Sara Irene (Ellenberger) Kelly. In addition to his parents he is preceded by his sister, Mary Alice Kelly. He is the last surviving member of his family.

Kelly spent of 50 years in the Midwest (Chicagoland area). He loved to boat and camp on the Mississippi river.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Davis) Kelly; his son, Brian Kelly, of Cumberland; sister-in-law, Anne Davis, Frostburg; Nephews, Joe Davis, Frostburg, Rick Davis and wife Patsy, Bradenton, FL, Bill (Buzzy) Davis and wife Lisa, Frostburg; Niece, Jennifer Cox and husband Steve, Washington State; Aunt, Alvina (Beanie) Koppel, Midlothian.

According to his wishes services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donation can be sent to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, 716 Furnace St., Cumberland, MD 21502.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
