James Stewart

James "Jim" Marshall Stewart, 67, passed away on December 19, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Born on January 31, 1955, he was the son of late Betty (Porter) and Delbert Stewart.

Jim was a member of Cresaptown United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with all of his family and on the farm. He was an avid fan of Sprint cars and late models. He also loved watching his son, grandson and nephew race.

Surviving James are his wife Donna Stewart; six children, Eric Broadwater and wife Misty Dawn, Nicholas Stewart and wife Misty Ann, Tyler Stewart and wife Monica, Kayla Phipps and Robert, Amber Humbertson and Willard, and Tara Stewart; grandchildren, Alexis, Bryce, Skylar, Emery, Jaxon, Jace, Zoey, Tristan, Ethan, Gabriel; sister, Carol Cosner and husband Randy; Neice and Nephew, Nan and Ollie Oker, Matthew and Beth Cosner; great niece and nephew, Jamison, Lucas, Macy and Jacob; as well as his friend Austin.

In accordance with his wishes Jim was cremated.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 12 noon to 2 P.M. at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg. A Memorial service will follow at 2 P.M. with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating.

Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
