Jean Beeman, 89, of Frostburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Mountain City Rehab Center.
She was born on December 4, 1936, to the late Jesse Clayton and Florence Etta (Bittinger) Warnick. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband, Clyde Oscar Beeman, and is the last remaining member of her immediate family including a brother and seven sisters, one of which was her twin.
Jean belonged to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Frostburg and held employment with Marriott and then Airmark dining services at Frostburg state. Her life was always centered towards family. She could always be found taking care of them, especially her grandchildren and was considered the "Road Runner" of the family, as she was always driving from house to house to check on her siblings and other family. She spent time listening to 60's music, playing cards with her twin, but most of all would participate in the holiday activities with her husband's beliefs. You could always find a smile and a warm plate of food in her kitchen as she prepared for Sunday meals or her Thanksgiving feast or hope to have a portion of "Jean's Beans". Although Frostburg and Georges Creek were her home, the beach is were she would want to be.
Surviving are her children, David Beeman and wife Gail, Melonie Drew and Gloria Beeman; nine grandchildren, Steven Beeman, Amy Slonaker, Chad Beeman, Jay Drew, Jessica Keplinger, Chantal Knieriem, Daniel Knieriem, Tyler Knieriem and Dakota Phillips;ten great grandchildren, Caleb, Aiden, Iziah, Madix, Karleigh, Kyla, Madilynn, Max, Kaylien and Trinitie; one great-great grandchild, Kaycelynn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Mountain City Peace Healthcare for their care of Jean.
Family and Friends will received on Monday, July 27th, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at Durst Funeral Home in Frostburg. A funeral service will be held after the viewing at 1 pm with Celebrant Peg Marshall.
Internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow, MD.
