Jerry Rex Tenny

Jerry Rex Tenny Sr., 88, of Frostburg passed away on January 14, 2026 at Peace Health Care Mountain City.

Born on July 12, 1937 to the late Evelyn (Carey) and Roy Tenny. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step father, Harry Carry and his wife JoAnn Tenny; his daughter Lisa's long life partner, John Kroll and sister, Sharon Carey.

Jerry drove a coal truck for numerous companies over the years and after retiring he went on to work for the Allegany County Roads Department. Jerry's work ethic was second to none, he took pride in himself and what he did, which was evident in the meticulous care he provided for his house and yard.

Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Tenny and son, Jerry Tenny Jr.

Jerry was cremated in accordance with his wishes and no services will be held.
