Joann Marie Solomon, 61, of Shaft, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at her residence.
Born January 1, 1954, in Springfield, WV. She is the daughter of William R. Hook and the late Betty Pearl (Hedrick) Hook.
Joann is survived by her husband, Paul E. Solomon; daughter, Mary Ann Pearl Jefferies and husband Joseph; two grandchildren, Justin and Jacquelyn; one great grandchild; seven sisters, Martha McDaniel and husband Terry, Wilma Abrell and husband Doug, Evelyn Hook, Pearl Wilson and husband Larry, Barbara Largent and husband David, Mildred Kemp and husband Larry, Ruthie Saulnier husband Paul; brothers, Tom Hook and wife Janet, David Hook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Solomon was cremated in accordance with her wishes.
