John Troutman

John J. Troutman

78, of Eckhart Mines, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.

Born on June 23, 1939 in Diehl, PA to the late John Edward and Evelyn (Winebrenner) Troutman.

John was a member of Eckhart Methodist Church. He was a dedicated employee and hard worker for 40 years as a driver and sales manager for Price Beer Distributors. John was a former chief of Clarysville Fire Company and Cresaptown Eagles.

John enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Steelers, Orioles, and Dale Earnhart fan. He loved spending time with his family, woodworking in his workshop and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Lois Troutman; children, Matt Troutman and wife Marne, Frostburg, Kimberly Lucas and husband Rod, LaVale, Darren Troutman and spouse Kevin Byrne, Chicago, Michael Troutman and wife Lori, Short Gap; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Roy Troutman and wife Dottie, Frostburg; sisters, Charlene Knox, Oakland and Carol Tichnell, Keyser; Special in-laws, Rob Rase and wife Linda, Susie Blough, Kay Warden, Dick Rase and wife Althea, Linda Davis and husband John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD, on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. George Harpold officiating.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
