John Raymond Wright Jr.

John Raymond Wright Jr., 70, of Frostburg passed away in peace at home holding his best friends hand on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Born on December 23, 1955 to the late Ruby (Winters) and John "Ray" Wright Sr.

John was an avid wrestling fan. He worked at Sacred Heart in Dietary where he meet his best friend. They enjoyed eating out at restaurants, driving to see new places and enjoyed watching James Bond 007 and John Wayne. John loved singing and dancing to Elvis and he was a collector of many fascinating interests. John was a long time member of the Church of Nazarene.

He leaves behind his best friend, Charley Barnard and family as well as his uncle Ralph Wright

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Funeral service will be at Durst Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 10 AM with Reverend Tim Smith Officiating.
