Joseph Harris

Joseph Leroy Harris of Frostburg passed away on October 8, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland Hospital.

Born on October 22, 1950 to the late Elsie (Mears) and Leroy Harris. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Harris; sister, Jenny Carder; brother in law, Gene Patton

Joseph was an Army National Guard and worked in the kitchen at the Frostburg Depot. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

Surviving are his sister, Anna Patton; brothers, Joe Harris, Lanny Harris; sister in law, Mary Helen; numerous nieces and nephews

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Friday, October 10, 2024 from 2 to 4.

Funeral service will follow at 4 P.M. with Rev. George Harpold Officiating.

Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
