Joyce Ellen Harper

Joyce Ellen Harper, 85, of Frostburg passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

 She is preceded in death by her only son, Byyon Bodie who she missed more than anything and couldn't wait to be with him again.

 Joyce was strong loving and caring woman who always wanted to help others even if she didn't have much. She enjoyed meeting new people and loved her outings with her best friends.

 Surviving are daughter, Barbara Jo Suddueth; sisters, Ruth Bargen and husband Dale, Edie Hopkins; her best friends and care takers, Stephanie Durst and Martha Nelms; the best roommate she could have ever asked for, Miss Kay.

 Joyce was cremated in accordance with her wishes. A graveside service at Frostburg Memorial Park will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00.

 Stephanie and Martha would like to thank the caring and loving staff at Sterling Care, Frostburg for their continued help and friendships.
