Later in life she embraced her love of coffee and together with her husband Harold, opened the Java Cafe on Center Street in Meyersdale, creating a place where people could gather, enjoy a cup of coffee, and share a conversation.

Above all, Kay treasured her family and the relationships she built throughout her lifetime. Kay’s life was filled with family, memories, and the many relationships that made her journey special. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds hope in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
