Keith Hovatter

Keith Gordon Hovatter Sr., 65, of Mount Savage, passed away on May 27, 2025 at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on November, 8, 1959, to the late Robert and JoAnn (Adams) Hovatter.

Keith was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1977 to 79. He was also a member of the Barrelville Outdoor Club and worked for Heritage Coal as a truck driver.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Shari Hovatter; daughter, Misty Michaels and husband Craig, Short Gap, WV; sons, Keith Hovatter and wife Marcy, Mt. Savage, Joey Hovatter and wife Monica, Cumberland; grandchildren, Craig Michaels, Colton Michaels, Cassie Hovatter, Lainey Hovatter, Rylee Hovatter, Seth Arnone, Charisa Swinney; brother, Robert Hovatter and wife Brenda "Bunny", Morgantown; sister, Deborah Porter and significant other Tyrone, Glen Burnie; sister in laws, Karen Jones, Mt. Savage, Faye Jones and husband John, Mt. Savage, Mary Davis and husband Jack, LaVale; brother and law and special friend, Tom Porter, Seaford, DE. Keith also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, friends from his morning "Talk Show" as well as his special fur baby, Cody.

Keith was cremated and no services will be held in accordance with his wishes.
