Lawrence Bendle

Lawrence Allen Bendle, 65, of Frostburg, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his residence.

Born February 7, 1959 to the late Lawrence Bendle and Doris L. (Croston) Bendle. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Terri Robinson, nephew, Tyler Bendle, and pup, Pettie. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Larry was a life member of the Clarysville Volunteer Fire Station. He was a former partner in Benmar Flooring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4- wheeling, sitting on the porch watching deer.

Surviving are his nephews; Brandon Robinson and Blake Robinson; uncles Gary Croston and Paul Croston; aunt Thelma Yates; cousins, Brent Croston, Shane Croston, Garrett Croston, Denise Shay, and John Yates; a special friend, Ann Lattea and his beloved dog DJ, who loved to go on car rides.

Larry was cremated in accordance with his wishes.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, 716 Furnace Street, Cumberland, MD 21502.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10-11 AM. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Rev. George Harpold Officiating.
