Lillian Louise (Richards) Filer, 85, of Frostburg, passed away on Friday, January 01, 2016
Born on June 14, 1930 in Grahamtown, to John William Richards Sr. and Florence Emma (Snelson) Richards. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ellwood L. Filer, Sr., daughter, Suzanne Walters and husband Milton; grandson in law, Brian Muir; three sisters, Helen Virginia Broadwater, Florence Sivic, and Elizabeth Paul; and two brothers, John Richards, Jr. and James E. Richards; she is the last surviving of her immediate family.
Mrs. Filer was retired from Schwabs and Michael Berkowitz Shirt Factory as a seamstress.
Surviving are a daughter, Dianne Louise Morgan and husband Gerald, Midlothian; one son, Ellwood “Woody” Filer, Jr. and wife Barbara, Frostburg; four grandsons, Kevin Filer, Danny Filer, Gerald Morgan Jr. and Brent Morgan; a granddaughter, Suzanne Muir and a great-grandchild, Tessela Muir; and numerous nieces and nephews.
