Linda Lou Bond

Linda Lou (Geiger) Bond, age 81, of Frostburg, MD gained her angel wings on June 20, 2026. 

Born January 19, 1945, in Meyersdale, PA to the late Charles Herbert & Leona Sarah (Reiber) Geiger. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Bond; brothers, Lewis, Donald & William Geiger; sisters, Doris Wilt, Dolly Dealer, & Mary Paul. Also, her beloved dog Kati. 

Survived by her sister, Judith Wolfe; children, Deborah Hutzell & Jeffrey (Joy) Rosenberger; grandchildren, Sonya (Dave) Hafer, Zachary Hutzell, Christie (Ike) Makay, & Roxanne Rosenberger; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren with 3 more coming this year. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Linda retired from Frostburg A&P Market and Diamond Lounge. 

"Grandma Bond" was always a hard worker, working 2 jobs her entire life. She created 5 generations of family & love. She was a very independent lady. Always first to offer help. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing bingo & games on her computer & spending time with family. She loved to laugh & was quite the ornery character. She will be greatly missed. 

Per her wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral services. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
