Lois Ann Bennett

Lois Ann Bennett, 67, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Moran Nursing and Rehab.

Born on January 25, 1959, to the late Clarence Housel Jr. and Betty Juanita Clark. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Ronald R. Bennett; daughter, Amanda Blair Bennett; and a brother, Jimmy Housel.

Lois was an administrative assistant at Frostburg State Universities Programs Advancing Student Success (PASS) office. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to any situation and did it with the kindest of smiles and approaches. Lois was especially fond of flowers.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Marie Bennett; and son, Shane Matthew Bennett; a grandchild, Aria Rae Kennedy; her siblings, Judy McKenzie and husband Olin, Karen Ritchey, Larry Housel and wife Vickie, and Mark Housel.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Peg Marshall as celebrant.

Internment will be at Frostburg Memorial Park.
