Margaret Elizabeth Briefs

Margaret Elizabeth Briefs, 68, of Frostburg passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Mt. City Rehabilitation. She was born in Bethesda Maryland.

Born on May 27, 1958 to the late Elizabeth (Holbuner) and Henry W. Briefs. She was the 7th of ten siblings and Catholic by faith. She was a huge Commanders Football fan (forever Redskins to her!). You were not allowed to call or text her on game days. She loved life and her family. She remembers the fun she had growing up with such a large family and loved the summer vacations at Bethany Beach with all the cousins.

Margie worked at Devlin Manor Nursing Home for many years in the dietary department.

Surviving are her siblings; Ginny Georg and husband Denny, Cathie Schorn and husband John, Patsy Bartels and husband Chris, Henry Briefs (deceased), Steven Briefs, Peter Briefs, Rick Briefs and wife Jayne, Chrissy Briefs and Mike Briefs.

Margie was cremated in accordance with her wishes. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
