Marilyn Evans

Marilyn Juanita Evans, 79, of Midlothian, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2016 at her residence.
Born February 19, 1937 in Slabtown to William and Ella (Smith) Winebrenner. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Samuel Evans, Sr., siblings, Alan Winebrenner, Thelma Hughes, Hazel Shroyer and Graham Winebrenner.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening, embroidery, cross stitching, reading and collecting hummingbirds.
Surviving are four sons, John S. Evans Jr., Hagerstown, James Evans and wife Kimberly, Alexandria, Va., Joel Evans and wife Patricia, Sykesville, and Jerry Evans and wife Dana, Frostburg; four grandchildren, Jason Evans and wife Heather, Amy Evans, Sarah Evans and Sacarra Shrader; two great grandchildren, Hailey Evans and Jamie Evans; a brother, Albert Winebrenner and numerous nieces and nephews.
