Mark Atkinson

Mark Lee Atkinson, 44, of Frostburg, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at his residence.
Born on March 9, 1971, in Frostburg, he was the son of Evelyn Atkinson and Leroy Freeman Atkinson and wife Debbie.
Mark was employed by CSX Transportation as a track worker. He was previously employed by the State of Maryland Juvenile Justice System as well as Frostburg Pizza. He previously owned Priority Fitness in Frostburg and Maxx Fitness in Cumberland. Mark truly loved his family and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Mark never met a stranger and everyone loved his sense of humor. He enjoyed playing poker and was quite adventurous.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are daughters, Cindy McMillan and husband Zach of Oldtown and Hannah Atkinson of Cresaptown; grandchildren, Tristan Edward McMillan, Jackson Axl McMillan and Zachariah William McMillan; sister, Melissa Booth and husband Bryan of LaVale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Durst Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
