Marsha Lynne Staggs

Feb 19, 1966 — Oct 13, 2026

Marsha Staggs was born on February 19, 1966 in Barrelville, MD, to Dorothy Ellen (Carr) and Donald Richard Booth, Sr. Her journey on this earth was filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family and friends. Throughout her life, Marsha touched countless hearts through her kindness, intelligence, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Marsha was a bright and dedicated student, graduating from Mount Savage High School in 1984. She continued her education with determination, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Services in December 1988. She went on to build her professional career at Allegany College of Maryland, where she worked as an IT Technician. Her colleagues remember her not only for her technical knowledge and skills but also for her kindness, patience, and willingness to help other. Whether at work or at home, Marsha had a natural ability to look out for people and herself available whenever someone needed her.

Above all else, Marsha will be remembered for the fierce, selfless love she gave so freely. She was the definition of a "Mama Bear", always looking out for the people she loved, making sure everyone was taken care of, and somehow always putting others before herself. She was the planner, the organizer, and one who remembered the details, made sure things were handled, and thought ahead for everyone. Her love was more then something she said: it was something she showed in countless little ways every single day. She loved deeply, protected fiercely, and gave of herself without asking for anything in return,

An intelligent and thoughtful woman, Marsha found joy in the simple yet extraordinary beauty of the world around her. She loved flowers, the beauty of nature, and taking in the little things that others might overlook. She had a special appreciation for the beauty of creation, reflecting the faith she held close to her heart. Marsha loved the Lord and was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, which allowed her to share her love for Him in a special way. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and it brings comfort to know that she is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior.

Of all the roles she held in life, being a wife, mother, and Mimi was among her most treasured. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Ken Staggs, and a loving mother to her two daughters, Shayna Staggs and Kayla Staggs. Her family was at the center of her heart into making sure they were loved, supported, and cared for.

Bing a Mimi to her four grandchildren; Aviahna, Jj, Kendra, and Brooklynn, brought her a special kind of joy. She treasured spending time with them and loved them with the same fierce, unconditional love that defined her. She wanted to be involved, to make plans, to create memories, and to ensure that each of them knew they were loved. Her presence in their loves will never be forgotten, and the memories they made together will remain a precious part of her legacy.

Marsha also shared a beautiful lasting bond with her longtime friend, Lisa, whom she loved as her own sister. Their friendship was a special part of her life, a testament to the deep and lasting connections she formed with the people fortunate enough to know her.

Though her family's hearts are broken by her passing, there is comfort in knowing that this is not the end of her story. Marsha will be reunited with her Lord and Savior, her beloved sister, Dotty Ann and her mother, Dorothy. While those who love her must learn to navigate a world without her physical presence, they can find peace in the belief that she is finally healed, free from pain, and surrounded by the heavenly love she so deeply believed in.

Her absence will be felt in the quiet moments, in the family gatherings she would have planned, in the flowers blooming each spring, in the beauty of nature, and in the songs that remind her loved ones of her faith. She will be missed in more ways that words could ever express.

Marsha loved fiercely, gave selflessly, and made it her mission to care for everyone she held dear. Her legacy is not measured by the years she spent on this earth of the accomplishments she achieved, but by the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the family she cherished above all else.

That love does not end with her passing. It lives on in her husband, her daughters, her grandchildren, her dear friend, and every heart she touched throughout her live. Though she will be sorely missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that Marsha is forever healed, reunited with those who went before her, and home with her Lord and Savior.
