Melodie Willison

Melodie Sue (Winebrenner) Willison, 57, previously of Frostburg, passed away at her home in Virginia on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

Born on January 22, 1966, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late John Winebrenner and Sylvia Marlene (Witte) Winebrenner and step-father, Albert Walker.

Melodie worked as a CMA at the McGuire VA Hospital. She had a strong family bond and had a love of music and enjoyed attending live concerts. She often organized family and friend get-togethers.

Surviving are her husband, Steve Willison, Sr.; son, Steven Willison, Jr. and wife Christina; grandchildren, Steven Willison III, Draven Willison, Walker Willison and Ember Willison; sisters, Peggy Carter and husband Rex and Vicki Roland and husband Mike, as well as numerous nieces and nephews

Friends and family will be received by the family at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, Maryland, on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 1 pm with Rev. George Harpold officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Savage United Methodist Cemetery.
