Millard Lee Knieriem

Millard Lee Knieriem, 77, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Born on May 16, 1946, in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Millard and Betty Lou (Robinette) Knieriem.

Following graduation from high school, Millard joined the U. S. Army and served in Vietnam.  After his discharge, he worked in the Corriganville Stone Quarry where he served as a foreman.

He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing grass, gardening and watching birds and also was a fan of the great western movies and followed Chuck Norris, Charles Bronson, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne.

Millard is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Ann (Winebrenner) Knieriem; daughters, Michell L. Taccino and husband James and Karrie Durst and husband Gregory; son, Jeremy Knieriem and wife Katie; grandchildren, Brandon Taccino, Nicholas Taccino, Robert Sines III, Cory Sines, Chase, Allie and Tanner Knieriem; his brother, Duane C. Knieriem and wife Cathy; and his dog, Daisy.

According to Millard’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
