Nancy L. Wolford, 64, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born on February 22, 1956, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Charles Leo Westfall and Shirley (Weicht) Bender.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Howard Bender, and special aunt and uncle, Sue (Weicht) Kisamore and husband Eugene, whom she held dear to her heart, among other aunts and uncles.
Nancy was a Registered Nurse Certified, RNC, serving at Frostburg Community Hospital and Memorial Hospital in Cumberland. Most recently, she was a sales representative for Mary Kay.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Harry “Wink” Wolford; son, James Wolford and wife Carrie; grandchildren whom she absolutely adored and were the light of her life, Emma Lynn, Rachel Elizabeth and Jonathan Gabriel; sisters, Cheryl Lidner, Vickie Westfall, Karen Burton, Joyce Westfall; brother, Larry Westfall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Thursday, August 27, 2020, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 3 pm with Chris Skidmore officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Mt. Savage, MD.
