Norma Jean Scarpelli, 88, of Frostburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Born on June 7, 1935, to the late Claude Logan and Ida Harriet (Ware) Neat. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, James Scarpelli, and a brother, Claude Leon Neat.
Mrs. Scarpelli worked in the Dietary Dept. of Sacred Heart Hospital, Frostburg Village Nursing Home and Frostburg Heights. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with people and visiting those in need.
Surviving are her three sons, James Edward Scarpelli and wife Rosemary, John Eugene Scarpelli and wife Peggy, Richard Leon Scarpelli and Michele; seven grandchildren, Andrew James Scarpelli, Justin Travis Scarpelli, Leah Michelle Scarpelli, Matthew Philip Scarpelli, Rachel Lynn Scarpelli, Vincent Adam Scarpelli and Samantha Elizabeth Ezell; five great grandchildren, Dean Edward Scarpelli, Luke Andrew Scarpelli, Adina Rae Chapman, Madeline Ivy Scarpelli and Ellias Matthew Scarpelli.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Funeral services will be held at Durst Funeral home on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at
11:00 am with Pastor Robert Culler officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Interment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park.
A special "Thank You" for the love and care you gave our mother at Egle Nursing.
