Norma M. Stott
87, of Cumberland, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born on August 22, 1926, in Mt. Savage she is the daughter of the late James Price and Mary Catherine (Winters) Russell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Albert T. Stott; sister, Mary Louise Russell; brother, John W, “Jack” Russell.
Norma was a homemaker and a member of St. Peters & Paul’s Catholic Church, Cumberland.
Surviving are her six children, Frances Stott, North Dakota, Albert T. Stott Jr. Hyattsville, Lois Russell, Cumberland, James Stott, Colonial Heights, VA, Michael Stott, Fort Wayne, IN, and Lawrence Stott, Cumberland; 14 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Hughes, Mt. Savage, and Theresa Bertolina, Pittsburgh; one brother, Ronald R. Russell, Mt. Savage; and numerous nieces and nephews.
