Patricia Jean Richards

Patricia Jean Richards (Brookley) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 26, 2024.

She was born on June 23, 1935 to the late Ethel D. (Timbrook) and Conrad E. Brookley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Brookley; sister, Eunice Reb, and great-grand daughter, Maeve Elizabeth Adams.  

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Richards; her daughters, Pam Sweitzer and husband George, Cheryl Richards, Lisa Adams and husband John; her son, Leland Richards and wife, Laura. She is also survived by her grandsons, Kris Sweitzer and wife Sarah, Jonathan Adams and wife Mara, Grant Adams and wife Maria, and Ryan Adams. She was the great-grandmother to Isaac, Iyla, and Isabel Sweitzer.

"Pat" lightened up everyone that was around her and will be loved and missed by everyone.

Family and relatives will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 12 noon to 1 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. George Harpold officiating.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park following the service.
