Paul Huff

Paul Douglas Huff, 71, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Martinsburg VA Hospital. He was a son, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.

Born August 5, 1953, in Frostburg, to the late James Huff and Ellen (Welsh) Huff. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Zach Huff, and a sister, Tina Lewis.

Paul was a track and field star running a mile in 4:19 minutes. He served in the Airforce 1968-1973 during the Vietnam war. Paul was a Presidential Guard for President Nixon.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved camping and a collector of antiques. Paul loved playing guitar, and listening to the bands Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Surviving are sons; Jeromiah Huff and wife Juliet, and Christopher Huff, daughter, Tiffany Stair and husband Kristopher; grandchildren, Evan Huff, Emma Huff and Kelsea Stair. Also surviving are brothers; Freddie Huff, Jimmie Huff and John Huff and wife Mary; sister, Paula Folk and husband Rick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm.

Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:00 am with Fr. Ed Hendericks as a celebrant. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

Internment will be in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
