Phyllis Crowe

Phyllis Crowe, Hoffman Hollow Road, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at WMHS surrounded by her devoted daughters.

She was born September 24, 1937 to William Adrain Meek and Cecila (Hart) Meek. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Crowe.

Phyllis was a loving mother and is survived by her two daughters; Julie Crowe and Denise Crowe, Hoffman Hollow Road; her sister, Patricia Sandvik, Edgewater, MD; special niece and nephew, Tina Sanvick and Steve Sandvik and wife Dawn and sons, Edgewater, MD; and several other nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was a homemaker and was always there to help anyone she could. She attended Frostburg United Methodist Church.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Zaman, the Schwab Family Cancer Center and the nurses and staff on

7 South for all their kindness and care.  We would also like to thank Chaplain Bruce and the entire pastoral staff for their prayers and words of comfort.
