Phyllis Naomi Eisentrout

90, of Fort Ashby, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born January 25, 1925 in Hyndman, PA to Frederick Bruck and Priscilla (Albright) Bruck. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas J. Eisentrout Jr.; two sisters, Helen (Bruck) DeVore and Margaret (Bruck) Hyatt; one brother, Ray Bruck; and son-in-law Bernard Allen Conner. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Phyllis was a 1944 graduate of Hyndman School, PA and retired from Allegany County Board of Education with 31 ½ years as a custodian at Beall High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Fort Ashby where she attended church and bible study, and served 10 years as a nursery attendant at Frostburg United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Priscilla (Silda) Speir and husband Sonny, Frostburg, Madelyn Conner, Fort Ashby, with whom she resided, and Margaret “Peggy” Bridges, Fort Ashby; six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
